Ai NAACP Image awards 2010 tra le serie televisive stravince Tyler Perry’s House of Payne: la commedia della TBS con Tyler Perry si porta a casa quattro riconoscimenti compreso quello come miglior comedy per il terzo anno consecutivo.

Nelle sezioni Drama c’è stata maggior varietà: Lincoln Heights è stata riconosciuta come miglior serie, mentre a Hill Harper di CSI New York è andato il premio per il miglior attore drammatico. Due premi sono finiti a Grey’s Anatomy, uno per la sceneggiatura, assegnato a Shonda Rhimes, l’altro per la direzione di un episodio a Chandra Wilson.
