Al Nokia Theater di Los Angeles sono stati assegnati la prima metà degli Emmy Awards 2010, quelli riguardanti le categorie tecniche e le guest star degli show televisivi.

Tra gli attori hanno trionfato Neil Patrick Harris per la sua partecipazione alla prima stagione di Glee (l’attore di How I Met Your Mother si è portato a casa anche l’Emmy per la cerimonia dei Tony Awards), Ann-Margret per quella in Low and Order e John Lithgow per la splendida performance nella quarta stagione di Dexter.
