Ora ci occuperemo di qualche novità rigurdante nuovi pilot e qualche casting news, iniziamo con la seconda stagione di Castle, Ausiello ci regala un paio di new entry per un episodio speciale in due parti, la Dana Delany di Desperate Housewives e l’ex-Heroes Leonard Roberts parteciperanno alla puntata nei panni di due agenti federali, che affiancheranno Castle e Beckett in un caso che coinvolgerà un serial killer.
Ed ora un nuovo progettio HBO pronto al via grazie agli sforzi congiunti di Maria Bello in veste di protagonista, Russell Crowe come produttore, a cui si è aggiunto lo sceneggiatore Premio Oscar per The Millionaire, Simon Beaufoy. Il progetto si baserà sul libro Emergency Sex and Other Desperate Measures: A True Story From Hell on Earth, di Kenneth Cain, Heidi Postlewait e Andrew Thomson, in cui si raccontano le vicende reali dei tre autori del libro membri di un’organizzazione umanitaria di fronte ad orrori ed atrocità che rischiano quotidianamente di minarne la psiche.
Proseguiamo con una serie di casting news veloci veloci, si comincia la comedy in preparazione della ABC Awkward situations for men , reclutati Tony Hale (Chuck) e Matt Letscher (Eli Stone), mentre John Michael Hill sarà co-protagonista nel nuovo pilot drama ABC 187-Detroit e l’attore inglese Matt Ryan (The Tudors) ha concluso le trattative per un ruolo nel prossimo spin-off di Criminal Minds, Ryan sarà Mick cecchino, ex-merceneraio formatosi nelle forze speciali inglesi.
Concludiamo con un gradito ritorno in casa CW, la coppia di executive Amy-Sherman Palladino e Daniel Palladino, creatori del serial Una mamma per amica, tornano a collaborare con la rete co-prodotti da Warner Bros e CBS Studios per un pilot ancora senza titolo che parlerà di una famiglia che vive in un ranch del Wyoming.
